In view of the above, this Court is inclined to hold that in the event the petitioner is released on bail at this stage, there is ample chance of her absconding.

The petitioner is in custody for more than 300 days. The prosecution proposes to examine 6 witnesses. Considering the material available on record, prayer for bail is rejected at this stage.

Learned trial Court is directed to expedite the trial without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.

The application for bail is disposed of.
