The petitioner has come up in the instant revision assailing the order of stay of the judgment and order of conviction and sentence passed in a proceeding under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act by the learned Magistrate subject to depositing a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- in the judicial cash by the appellant within 7 days from the date of the order.

The aforesaid order was passed while admitting the criminal appeal No.3 of 2022.

The instant criminal revision is disposed of with the following modifications.

"The prayer for stay of the operation of the judgment and sentence passed by the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, 2nd Court at Kalyani in Complaint Case No.76C of 2015 subject to depositing a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- by the

appellant/petitioner within 7 days from the date of this order."

Petitioner is at liberty to act on the server copy of the order.
