The petitioners contested the Panchayat General Elections, 2023.

The petitioners complain that there was severe rigging, malpractice, violence, vandalism on the day of poll that is 8th July, 2023.

The petitioners allege that a complaint was prepared and sought to be lodged before the Panchayat Returning Officer but the same was refused to be accepted.

It appears that the present writ petition have been affirmed on 25th July, 2023.

It is clear that there has been gross delay in approaching the Court. The Court is not convinced with

the bona fide of the petitioners in approaching the Court.

The writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed. Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
