In view of the communication made by the Chairperson, District Primary School Council, Bankura vide Memo No.-2604/45 dated 24th July, 2024 regarding postponement of admission of untrained primary teachers having B.Ed. qualification in 2 years D.El.Ed. course, the immediate cause of action the filing the writ petition does not subsist.

In view of the above, the writ petition stands disposed of.

It goes without saying that it will be open for the petitioners to approach the Court if the cause of action for filing the instant writ petition recurs in future. It is made clear that the issue whether or not the petitioners would be entitled to 'A' category scale of pay on their qualification has not been adjudicated in the instant writ petition. It will be open for the petitioners to approach the appropriate forum for relief. The writ petition stands disposed of.
