Learned advocate representing the Distribution Company Limited produces the instruction forwarded by the Divisional Engineer and Station Manager, Pandua CCC dated 11th November, 2024 which mentions that, as per office records the private respondent applied for obtaining new connection for operating submersible pump on 30th January, 2024 and the petitioner submitted his application on 5th March, 2024.

2. The petitioner did not execute any type of work, such as, boring of pump, construction of meter room, etc. till date. The actual distance between the probable connection of the petitioner and the private respondent will be approximately 75 meters.

3. The plot of the petitioner is in Khatian No. 665/1 and Dag No. is 605. The Khatian No. of the private respondent is 4450 and Dag No. is 470. The zone where the electric supply will be provided is a safe zone. The licensee is in a position to provide electricity to both the applicants.

4. The Distribution Company Limited is directed to take steps to grant electricity connection to the parties subject to compliance of all necessary formalities.

5. The writ petition stands disposed of.

6. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
