Criminal Revisional Jurisdiction 28-07-2023 Subha Item no.59 Ct no.34 CRR 2736 of 2023 Maitreyi Das -versus- Tulsi Ranjan Das Mr. Soumyajit Das Mahapatra Ms. Madhurai Sinha ....for the petitioner.

Petitioner has prayed for expeditious completion of Misc. Case No. 25 of 2022 preferred under the provisions of P.W.D.V 2005.

According to the petitioner, the application before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Baruipur is pending for more than one and half years and there has been no progress in the case. The prayers in the application amongst others incorporate the prayer for interim maintenance of Rs.20,000/- along with other prayers before the learned court. It is also revealed from the application that the petitioner has prayed for reinstatement in the share house-hold. Be that as it may, the learned Magistrate in seisin of Misc. Case No. 25 of 2022 would on the next date so fixed on 13th September, 2023, consider the interim prayers at least and dispose of the same within two months thereof. Thereafter, the learned Magistrate would proceed with the trial of the case and fix at least one date in every two months so that the trial can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.

With the aforesaid observations, the revisional application being CRR 2736 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending applications, if any, are consequently disposed of. All concerned parties are to act in terms of a copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this court. [Tirthankar Ghosh, J]
