Order dictated by Arijit Banerjee, J.:

Report filed by the State be kept with the records. 2.

We see that the Prosecution has examined its last witness being the Investigating Officer. September 11, 2024 has been fixed as the date for cross-examination of that witness. It is expected that evidence of that witness will conclude on that date. 3.

In view of the fact that there is sufficient incriminating material against this petitioner including the statements of eye witnesses recording the petitioner's involvement in the gruesome murder of his wife and in view of the fact that he has earlier several rejections of bail prayer on merits, we are not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail, at this stage, more so, since the trial is on the verge of conclusion.

CRM (DB) 2322 of 2024 is, thus, dismissed.

However, keeping in mind the lengthy detention of the petitioner, we direct the learned Trial Court to conclude the trial by

delivery of judgment at the earliest and positively by the end of November, 2024.
