Statements of witnesses show petitioner was seen running away from the place of occurrence. There are other incriminating materials connecting him with the crime.

Under such circumstances and gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. We request the trial court to consider the issue of framing charge on the date so fixed and if the court is unable to do so on that day it shall undertake such exercise within two months thereof and if charge is framed to take the proceeding to its logical conclusion without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
