The District Project Officer, Sarva Siksha Mission, District- 24-Parganas (North), the respondent no. 4 herein, on March 05, 2008 had engaged the petitioner as a Special Educator on contractual basis in the field of MR (Mental Retardation)/ VI (Visual Impairment) & HI (Hearing Impairment) in the District Level for the Inclusive Elementary education of the Disabled Children(IED) studying in formal schools.

The respondent no. 4, by the order dated June 17, 2019 had transferred the petitioner to Swarupnagar North Circle Level Resource Centre (CLRC) on administrative ground. The petitioner, instead of complying the said order has filed a

representation to the Minister-in-Charge of the School Education Department.

The State Project Director, Samagra Siksha Mission, the respondent no. 3 herein, had considered the said representation and by a communication dated March 08, 2021 had instructed the respondent no. 4 to allow the petitioner to join in any of the available vacant posts of Special Educator in either of the three circles i.e. Barasat West Circle, Naihati East Circle and Barrackpore Circle.

The respondent no. 4 herein by a letter dated September 06, 2021 had directed the petitioner to join the Naihati East Circle CLRC as a Special Educator within a period of 15 days from the date of issuance of the said letter. The petitioner, instead of complying with the said direction, has given a representation to the Principle Secretary, School Education Department, Government of West Bengal, the respondent no.2 herein. The said representation dated March 30, 2025 forms part of the writ petition being Annexure 'P-12'.

The said representation needs to be disposed of, therefore, the respondent no.2 shall consider and dispose of the said representation as expeditiously as possible in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six weeks

from date after giving the petitioner an opportunity of hearing.

Since no affidavit has been invited, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents.

WPA 17867 of 2025 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.
