On the other hand, learned advocate for the State, has produced the Case Diary which reflects that the petitioner was apprehended from the border outpost near Bangladesh. According to the prosecution, the petitioner happens to be a resident of Satkhira, Bangladesh. On the other hand, the petitioner claims to be a resident of Canning. To that effect, she submitted certain documents. However, although, the documents have been
found to be genuine, but, the family could not be identified by the villagers.
Be that as it may, since the presence of the petitioner and her arrest was made by the Border Security Force, who was subsequently handed over to the police authorities, I am of the view that no satisfactory explanation has been proffered from the petitioner to enlarge her on bail.
Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is Rejected.
Accordingly, CRM(M) 1272 of 2025 is dismissed. Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of. CD be returned to the learned advocate for the State.
