Bail prayer of the petitioner was turned down by this Court on 17th April, 2025 considering the material on record. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that five witnesses have been examined thereafter and all of them have turned hostile. Opposing the prayer, learned counsel for the State submits that some of the witnesses who have seen the petitioner come out of the victim's house on the relevant night are yet to be examined. The petitioner is in custody for more than a year. Offence, if proved, shall attract mandatory life imprisonment. Considering the material on record and also since bail prayer of the petitioner was rejected recently, this Court finds no change in the circumstances of the case which warrants a favourable order at this stage.

Accordingly, prayer for bail is rejected at this stage. The application for bail is disposed of.
