This appeal is against an order dated August 12, 2021 whereby a learned Single Judge dismissed the State's petition for review of the original order dated September 18, 2020.

Order 47 Rule 7 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 specifically says that an order of the Court rejecting an application for review shall not be appealable. In that view of the matter, this appeal is not maintainable.

The appeal and the connected application are, accordingly, dismissed. There will be no order as to costs. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order be supplied to the parties, if applied for, as early as possible. (Arijit Banerjee, J.) ( Kausik Chanda, J.)
