Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for bail. He submits that charge has been framed and date has been fixed for recording evidence and his bail prayer was rejected earlier. We have considered the materials on record. Statements of witnesses and contemporaneous document namely, seizure list disclose recovery of narcotic substance i.e. 12.127 Kgs. of Amphetamine tablets i.e. Yaba from the petitioner. In view of the aforesaid incriminating materials and as bail prayer of the petitioner was rejected on merits, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

We request the trial court to take prompt steps to conclude the trial at an early date without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
