Mr. Bankim Mondal Mr. Rajdatta Chattopadhyay Mr. Salu Pramanick Mr. Swastik Daga ... ... for the Petitioner Mr. Suman Ghosh Mr. Sidhata Ghosh ... ...for the State Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an aged lady and the private respondents hatched a criminal conspiracy to grab her scheduled property and thereby the private respondents are trying to make illegal pucca construction on the property of the petitioner. In that process the petitioner has been assaulted physically as well as mentally by them.

Learned counsel appearing for the State files a report. Let the report be kept with the record. Learned counsel appearing for the State submits that on 26.06.2024, after receiving the complaint from the petitioner all steps had been taken by the police authorities and subsequently, another application was filed by the petitioner and received by the Superintendent of Police, Diamond Harbour Police vide Memo No.5591/C dated 16.07.2024. The respondent authorities have taken all necessary steps including

prosecution under Section 126 BNSS against the respondent namely Ira Chakraborty w/o Uttam Chakraborty of Kultukari P.S.- Nodakhali, South 24 Parganas vide Nodakhali P.S. NCR No.724/24 dated 26.07.2024.

As all necessary steps have been taken by the police authorities, this writ petition is disposed of. However, the police is requested to keep a strict vigil at the locale as well as the scheduled property and ensure that no harm is caused to the petitioner and her property.

With the above direction the writ petition being WPA 18542 of 2024 is disposed of.

No order as to costs.
