The petitioner is absconding in excess of 5 years in respect of the police case.

A warrant of attachment and proclamation was affixed on the house of the petitioner on August 11, 2022 which is subsequent to the filing of the application.

In view of the long absconsion of the petitioner and in view of the materials in the case diary and in view of the subsequent steps taken by the police, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected. CRM (A) 3888 of 2022 is dismissed.
