The petitioner contested the Panchayat General Elections, 2023.

Allegation is that several illegalities took place on the day of poll as well as on the day of counting. From the documents annexed to the writ petition appears that an appeal of re-poll was submitted on 8th July, 2023 and the same was again forwarded on July 27, 2023.

The result of the election was declared on 11th July, 2023.

The illegalities which are sought to be highlighted constitute electoral disputes. The same cannot be looked into or decided by the writ Court.

In view of the above, no relief can be granted to the petitioner in the instant writ petition.

The writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed.

It will be open for the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum, if permissible in law, for redressal of her grievances.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
