1. Learned counsel for the petitioners, at the outset, fairly submits that during the pendency of this petition, petitioners retired on attaining the age of superannuation and, therefore, nothing survives for adjudication. More so, when what was subject matter of challenge before the Tribunal was a transfer order, which cannot be interfered with after his retirement.

2. Accordingly, petition is dismissed having rendered infructuous.

3. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties expeditiously upon compliance of all legal formalities.
