1. The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and he is in government service and he has been falsely implicated.

The learned Counsel for the State, in opposing the prayer for anticipatory bail, has submitted the petitioner has worked as a constable in Jhargram Police Line and complaints have been received of making false representation to several job seekers with an assurance to give job upon consideration.

3. The statement of the victim has been placed before us. 4.

Considering the materials available in the case diary and the statement of the victim which directly implicated amongst other the petitioner of making a false promise and assurance to give a government job upon payment of money and having regard to the fact that the petitioner is working as

constable in the Jhargram Police Line, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
