1. This public interest litigation has been filed alleging that the private respondents have illegally filled up a water body.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent/State has produced written instruction given by the Additional District Magistrate & District Land & Land Reforms Officer, Hooghly dated 9th August, 2023, wherein reference has been made to an order dated 5th June, 2023 by which permission/no objection certificate appears to have been granted on certain

conditions. Copy of such order has been furnished to the learned advocate for the petitioners.

3. The writ petition stands disposed of by leaving it open to the writ petitioners to challenge the correctness of the said order, if so advised.

4. No costs.

5. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties expeditiously upon compliance of all legal formalities.
