However, none appears for the petitioner at the time of call. No accommodation has been sought for either.

This application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is at the instance of the husband praying for a direction upon the learned Additional District Judge, 13th Court at Alipore to dispose of the Matrimonial Suit No.3507 of 2021 expeditiously. In view of the order sought and proposed to be passed, there is no necessity to issue notice upon the opposite parties. However, the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner shall be obliged to forward a copy of this application along with this order upon the opposite parties or upon the learned advocates representing the opposite parties before the learned Trial Judge.

From the order-sheets appended to this application, this Court finds that the learned

Additional District Judge, 13th Court at Alipore by order dated February 8, 2024 passed an order of stay of all further proceedings till the disposal of the Miscellaneous Case No.543 of 2023. It further appears from the order sheet that the date was fixed for filing affidavit of assets and liabilities by the respective parties.

CO 2623 of 2024 stands disposed of by requesting the learned Additional District Judge, 13th Court at Alipore to make an endeavour to dispose of the Miscellaneous Case No.543 of as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties. Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
