1. Heard the submissions of the learned advocates for the parties and perused the materials available in the case diary including the suo moto complaint lodged against the present petitioner, who happens to be the mother of the principal accused, who was still at large.

2. Considering the nature of allegation and the various statements made under section 180 of BNSS, even though specific overt act in connection with the death may not be available against the present petitioner but in view of the facts and circumstances and the gravity of the offence committed, this Court is of the view, granting the benefit of section 482(2) of BNSS at this stage of investigation in favour of the petitioner may frustrate the purpose of investigation..

3. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. (Chaitali Chatterjee (Das), J.)
