1. Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.

2. The petitioner obtained certain loan from the Bank of India, Salt Lake Branch. The loan amount is yet to be repaid. A legal representation was forwarded on behalf of the petitioners to the Chief Manager of the Bank of India, Salt Lake Branch in June, 2024 upon payment of a lump sum amount. The same is alleged to be kept pending.

3. Learned advocate representing the Bank submits that, the Bank is not standing in the way of the petitioners from repaying the loan amount.

4. Upon hearing the parties, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the Chief Manager of the Bank of India, Salt Lake Branch, that is, respondent no. 2 to consider and dispose of the legal representation made on behalf of the petitioners in June, 2024 in accordance with law upon giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners and by passing a reasoned order at the earliest but positively within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order.

5. The writ petition stands disposed of.

6. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
