Supplementary affidavit filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner filed an application under the provisions of Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act in the year 2023. Yet, till date even the application under Section 23 of the said Act could not be heard. The husband/opposite party has taken adjournments on several occasions on some pretext or the other. In view of the above, even the application under Section 23 of the said Act could not be heard out for so long. As an innocuous prayer has been made to expedite the proceedings, notice need not be served on the other side.

The learned Trial Court is requested to conclude the proceeding under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act in accordance with law and as expeditiously as possible and more particularly, hear out the application under Section 23 of the Act expeditiously preferably, within a period of three weeks from the next date of hearing. With these observations, the revisional application is disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order may be supplied to the parties expeditiously, if applied for.
