On 8th February, 2024 the writ petition being WPA 19135 of 2017 was considered by this Court along with the writ petition being WPA 16794 of 2016 and direction was given to list both the writ petitions today, 29th February, 2024.

However, on perusal of the order passed on the writ petition WPA 19135 of 2017 on 24th July, 2023 by this Court it appears that the said writ petition stood dismissed due to non-appearance on behalf of the petitioners. Therefore direction as contained in the order dated 8th February, 2024 in connection with the writ petition WPA 19135 of 2017 stands recalled.

The department is directed to treat the writ petition being WPA 19135 of 2017 as dismissed and not to show the same as pending in the system in view of the order dated 24th July, 2023.

Let the writ petition being WPA 19135 of 2017 be detagged.
