The writ petitioner has obtained an order of injunction from the learned Civil Judge, (Junior Division) at Bidhannagar on 12th October, 2020 in Title Suit No. 176 of 2020. By a further order dated 13th September, 2022, the Officer-in-charge, Lake Town Police Station was directed to render all assistance to ensure that injunction order dated 12th October, 2020 is implemented.

Counsel for the State submits that they have been maintaining strict vigil on the property. They have also visited the spot and have directed the parties to ensure compliance of the civil court's order. This court is of the view that in the event the petitioner apprehends any further obstruction or interference by the private respondents, he may

immediately inform the Lake Town Police Station who shall post a police picket thereat at the cost of the writ petitioner for a period of one week thereafter. Needless to mention that Lake Town Police Station shall abide by any further order that may be passed by any civil court in the said suit.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
