For the State The petitioner is directed to serve a copy of this revisional application upon Ms. Manisha Sharma, Learned Advocate, who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State. Her appearance may be regularised by the concerned authority. The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that the case was initiated in the year 2018, being Jamuria P.S. Case No. 207 of 2018 dated 11.8.2018. The Investigating Agency after completion of investigation submitted charge-sheet on or before December, 2018. Copies have been supplied to the accused persons and repeatedly dates have been fixed for consideration of charges.

Learned Advocate submits that last of such date was fixed on 17th of July, 2023 for charge. But, due to resolution of the local Bar, such charge could not be framed. Having considered the plight as expressed by the present petitioner, I direct Learned Judicial Magistrate, 6th

Court, Asansol, that at least, on the next date so fixed or within a fortnight thereafter, the Learned Trial Court should overcome the process of consideration of charges. In case, after the consideration of the charges of the present case, the Learned Trial Court is of the opinion that the trial of the case should be proceeded with, in that case, the Learned Trial Court would fix, at least, one date in every two months, so that the trial of the case should reach at its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time. I find from the charge-sheet that the Investigating Agency has relied upon 28 witnesses to prove the case. As such, efforts be taken by the Learned Trial Court to schedule the dates so that the majority of the witnesses are examined within two years from the first witness being examined. All stakeholders are directed to cooperate with the Learned Trial Court for concluding the trial at the earliest. With the aforesaid observations, CRR 2934 of 2022 is disposed of.

Pending application, if any, is also disposed of. Parties to act on a server copy of this order, duly collected from the official website of the Hon'ble High Court, Calcutta.
