The report reflects that so far as the information furnished by the petitioner regarding transfer of the amount from the bank, the same were for online video game at the behest of the petitioner's son and his friend (acquaintance).

Both parties sat for a settlement

but entered into a scuffle and received injuries, consequent to which Topsia P.S.

Case No. 85 dated 01.07.2022 was registered for investigation under Sections 324/114 of the IPC.

So far as the transactions are concerned, the Officer-in-charge of Topsia Police Station has contended that the information of the Cyber Police Station was to the extent that the nature of the dispute do not fall under the purview of Information & Technology Act, 2000.

Having considered the submissions of the learned advocate for the petitioner and the State, I am of the view that substantial time has passed in the meantime; the petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction of the police authorities and, no exceptional circumstance has cropped up and/or created in the writ petition to invoke the jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. However, the petitioner, if so advised, can avail the

efficacious alternative remedy available under the regular statute.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 18191 of 2022 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record. Copies of the report be circulated amongst the parties.
