Petitioner Mr. Joy Chakraborty Mr. Sandip Dinda ...for the Petitioner Ms. Madhumita Basak ...for the State Re: CRAN 1 of 2025 This is an application wherein the petitioner has prayed for relaxation of condition of bail imposed by this court vide order dated 24th July, 2024 wherein this court while granted bail to the petitioner imposed a condition that he shall remain within the jurisdiction of the concerned Police Station and shall meet to the Officer-in-charge of the concerned police station once in a fortnight until further order. He further submits that he has complied the said order and now he is facing inconvenience and as such, the prayer for relaxation of conditions of bail may be allowed.

Learned counsel for the State submits a report dated 10th September, 2025 which reflects that the petitioner more or less complied the said order.

Having heard learned counsel for both the parties, the condition imposed vide order dated 24.7.2024 is hereby modified as follows:-

"the Petitioner while on bail, shall remain within the geographic area of district North 24 Parganas and shall report to the O.C/I.C. of the concerned police station once in a month until further order".

The order dated 24.7.2024 modified to that extent only. Other portions of the order shall remain unaltered. CRAN 1 of 2025 is accordingly disposed of.
