Petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction of the police authorities as in spite of informing the police authorities on 19.03.2025, no steps have been taken. Petitioner complains of illicit relationship of his wife with other person.

State has submitted a report which reflects that earlier on the basis of the information furnished by the private respondent no.9, Liluah P.S. Case No. 155 of 2025 dated 18.03.2025 has been registered for investigation and on conclusion of investigation, charge-sheet has been submitted before the jurisdictional court under the relevant provisions of BNS and Dowry Prohibition Act.

Petitioner being aggrieved by the information, which was furnished and was not acted upon approached this Court. As the genesis of the case

stems out from a matrimonial dispute, I am of the view that petitioner would approach the jurisdictional court for necessary reliefs. In case any application is filed, learned Magistrate will assess and ascertain regarding the genuinity of the accusations and pass necessary directions as he deems fit and proper.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 17859 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
