1. Both the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner as well as State are present.

2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that this case is pending since 2016 and the de facto complainant of this case has already expired.

3. In this circumstances, petitioner is not willing to proceed with this revisional application any further and seeks necessary direction upon the Learned Trial Court to dispose of the case which is pending since 2016, as early as possible.

4. Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State.

5. I have gone through the records with all annexures.

6. The prayer for withdrawal stands allowed.

7. The instant revisional application stands dismissed being withdrawn.

8. Learned Trial Court is requested to dispose of the case,

which involves an accused who is a senior citizen, in connection with Special Case No. 04 of 2016, as expeditiously as possible without giving any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties to this case.

9. At this stage it is reported that one discharge application dated 16.07.2018 was filed by the one of the co-accused namely Chinmoy Chatterjee and from then on the application is pending on the plea of pendency of this revisional application.

Learned Trial Judge is also requested to dispose of that application within 15 days from the date of communication of this order without giving any kind of necessary adjournment to any of the parties.

With the aforesaid observation, the revisional application stands disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertakings. 13.
