Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that in spite of Chinsurah P.S. Case No.325 of 2024 dated 03.08.2024 having been registered for investigation, but no steps have been taken.

Having considered that more than 90 days have passed since the case was registered, the investigating officer of the case is directed to inform the petitioner regarding the progress of the investigation.

Learned advocate appearing for the State has submitted a report regarding the background of the case.

Having regard to the same, I am of the view that if the investigation till date has not been

concluded, the investigating agency will put in efforts for taking the investigation to its logical conclusion. With the aforesaid observations, WPA 18019 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
