And In Re : Rajib Dutta ...... petitioner Mr. B. R. Bhakat Mr. S. R. Kundu ....for the petitioner Mr. Binoy Panda Mr. Subham Bhakat ....for the State Petitioner prays for anticipatory bail.
Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, the petitioner is not named in the First Information Report (FIR). The petitioner was falsely implicated. Other co-accuseds are on bail.
Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the materials in the case diary. He submits that the petitioner is part of a racket who extract money from the members of the public entering in the office of the Block Land and Land Reforms Office for any official work. There are incriminating materials in the case diary as against the petitioner. There is a racket at the concerned office who extract money from the public to get work done. Such
materials suggest requirement of custodial interrogation of the petitioner. Consequently, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 3902 of 2022 is dismissed.
