Mrs. Debjani Sahu, learned advocate is directed to represent the State in this matter. Her appearance may be regularized by the concerned Authority in due course.

The present revisional application was preferred challenging the FIR of Kalighat P. S. Case No. 183 dated 19-112018 which was registered in the year 2018. Having regard to the fact that more than five years have passed and last of the ordersheets reflect that the petitioner has very recently surrendered for bail, I am of the opinion that the investigation be allowed to be taken to its logical conclusion if not already concluded.

Petitioner would be at liberty to agitate the points canvassed in the revisional application at the appropriate stage of the case particularly after the documents under Section 207 of the Code of Criminal Procedure is served upon him provided the report under Section 173 of the Code of Criminal Procedure is filed before the jurisdictional court. The issues canvassed are question of facts

cannot be addressed at this stage by invoking powers under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

Consequently, the revisional application being CRR 2944 of 2022 is disposed of.
