Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner has placed on record an instruction dated August 6, 2025, issued by WBSEDCL. It is submitted therein that if the petitioner constructs a meter room and completes the boring work, electricity connection will be provided in his favour. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner, however, submits that both the aforesaid works have already been completed. In view of such submission, WBSEDCL is directed to conduct a fresh inspection of the petitioner's premises. If, upon such inspection, it is found that the petitioner has duly complied with all formalities, including payment of the requisite fees, electricity connection shall be provided to him within a period of eight weeks from date.

Accordingly, WPA 17637 of 2025 stands disposed of.
