Since the petitioner who is the husband of the private opposite party seeks expeditious disposal of M.R. case no. 517 of 2022 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 4th Court, Chinsurah, Hooghly, the matter may be disposed of without service of notice upon the opposite party. The opposite party shall not be prejudiced by an order directing expeditious disposal of the case.

The proceeding under Section 125 of the Code of Criminal Procedure is pending since 2022.

In view of the above, the learned trial Court is directed to take the proceeding to its logical conclusion within six months from the next date of hearing fixed before him without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law.
