Petitioner complains that he has been subjected to harassment by the private respondent no.6.

Petitioner is a senior citizen.

Having considered the plight expressed by the petitioner and the report submitted by the State, I direct that the petitioner would, within a period of four weeks from date, apply before the appropriate authority under the provisions of Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007. In the meantime, the Officer-in-Charge, Bankura Sadar Police Station would depute a lady police personnel

who would every alternate day visit the residence of the petitioner and ascertain whether the petitioner has been subjected to any harassment or humiliation and submit a report before the Inspect-in-Charge of the said Police Station. Such arrangement would continue for a period of four weeks from date. With the aforesaid observations, WPA 17842 of 2023 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
