It appears from the report that the investigation is progressing substantially.

Mr. Banerjee, learned counsel appearing for Inspector-in-charge, Balurghat, submits that the investigation is actually complete and final report may be submitted any time now.

It is therefore ordered that such report in final form may be submitted immediately by the Inspector-in-charge, Balurghat, before the Jurisdictional Magistrate.

It is only based on such report, the D.I. of schools and/or the Commissioner of School Education shall review the appointment of the

current President of the school and make immediate change.

This Court has also scrutinized the report of the Superintendent of Police, Dakshin Dinajpur. The Superintendent of Police, Dakshin Dinajpur is of the view that departmental action should be taken against Ashim Kumar Gope, who is now posted under the Siliguri Police Commissionerate. The Commissioner of Police, Siliguri is directed to take immediate steps, as already recommended by Shri Rahul De, Superintendent of Police, Dakshin Dinajpur.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 16809 of 2019 is disposed of. No order as to costs.
