This special leave to appeal under Section 378(3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure is filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (in short, CBI) challenging the judgment and order of acquittal dated 20th August, 2018 passed by the learned Judge, Special (CBI) Court No.2, Bichar Bhawan, Kolkata, in connection with Special Case No.66 of 2011.

Having heard the learned advocate on behalf of the petitioner/ CBI on the ground of appeal and also having gone through the judgment impugned, leave is granted.

The petitioner/CBI is at liberty to prefer an appeal within the statutory period.

With the aforesaid observation, CRMSPL 50 of 2022 stands disposed of.
