The petitioner is directed to serve a copy of the revisional application to Mrs. Debjani Sahu, who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State. Her appointment may be regularized by the concerned authorities.

The petitioners are aggrieved by the fact that they have preferred an application for further investigation which has been kept pending for a considerable period of time. They are also aggrieved by the fact that although investigation commenced in the year 2016 in connection with Barasat Police Station Case No. of dated 27.09.2016 but unnecessarily the investigation of the case has been jeopardized. Having regard to the anxiety expressed by the petitioner and on perusal of the order itself, the next date seems to be fixed on 23rd August, 2023, I direct the learned Trial Court to complete and conclude the hearing of the application under Section 173(8) of the Cr. P. C/further investigation either on the next date fixed or within a period of three months thereafter.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR No. 2756 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this court.
