1. Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

2. Considering the materials available in the case diary, the statement of the victim recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C. which does not contain the name of the present petitioner, the complaint of the mother of the present petitioner against one Bhramor Roy who was granted anticipatory bail by the jurisdictional court, we are of the view that custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not necessary.

3. Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioner (Ajit Rabidas @ Tapas Rabidas) shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of like amount, to the satisfaction of the arresting Signed By :

officer and subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, corresponding to Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.

4. The petitioner shall cooperate with investigation and meet the investigating officer once in a week till filing of the final report and shall appear before the jurisdictional court within two weeks.

5. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is allowed.
