In Re: CAN 5 of 2025 The learned advocate representing the respondents/claimants submitted to have filed an application being CAN 5 of 2025 which inter alia stated that the respondent No.4 had expired during the pendency of the instant appeal supported by a copy of the death certificate marked as annexure P.

The respondent No.4 had expired on 29th August, 2023 and it has been affirmed that the legal heirs of the respondent No.4 so deceased had already been recorded.

The Department is directed to expunge the name of the respondent No.4 from the cause title of the memo of appeal.

The application being CAN 5 of 2025 is disposed of.

The Office of the learned Registrar General, High Court at Calcutta is directed to disburse the compensation amount in favour of the respondent Nos. 2 and 3 which was disbursed in favour of the deceased respondent No.4.
