This is an application under Article 226 of the Constitution of India wherein the writ petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the respondent authorities in considering his application for general transfer on special ground under Rule 4(1)(a) of the West Bengal School Service Commission (General Transfer, Transfer on Special Grounds and Reallocation) Rules, 2015.

Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the application was submitted by the school authorities to the District Inspector of Schools on February 6, 2016. Accordingly, the District Inspector of Schools (SE), Bankura being the respondent no.8 is directed to forward the documents to the Commissioner of School Education being the respondent no.3 who is directed to take a decision

expeditiously in this matter, preferably within a period of eight weeks from date.

With these above observations and directions, this writ petition stands disposed of.

Since, no affidavit-in-opposition has been called for the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have not been admitted by the respondents.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
