Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record. The writ petitioner was engaged by a contractor as will appear from the letter dated 1st December, 2015 appearing at page 16 of the writ petition. The contractor had deployed the petitioner for cleaning and house keeping services at Barghasipur BPHC and Debhog PHC. The said contractor has been directed by the Chief Medical Officer of Health, Purba Medinipur vide memo dated 27th September, 2020 to see that the petitioner being a contractual staff at Barghasipur BPHC does not enter any hospital in Haldia Sub-Division. Aggrieved by this memo, the petitioner has filed the instant writ petition challenging the said order.

The petitioner was engaged by the contractor and had been deployed at a particular health centre. The petitioner cannot challenge the direction given to the contractor to remove the petitioner in writ jurisdiction as she is not a contractual staff

directly engaged by the government organisation. The writ petition is, therefor, dismissed.
