From the materials on record including the aforesaid sale deed, we are of the prima facie opinion petitioner was the owner and was cultivating poppy on the land in question. Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected at this stage.

Investigating Officer is present. His presence is noted and dispensed with.
