The petitioner contested the Panchayat General Elections, 2023.

The petitioner alleges mismatch of votes.

It appears that the result of the election was declared on 11th July, 2023 and the petitioner has approached before this Court by filing this writ petition on 26th July, 2023.

The petitioner prays for conducting re-poll.

According to the provisions of law, the prayer for re-poll or recounting is required to be made at the proper time.

At such belated point of time, no relief can be granted to the petitioners in the instant case. The writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed. Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
