This revisional application has been preferred praying for the expeditious disposal of C. Case No. 01 of 2024 in G.R. Case No. 1360 of 2023 pending before the learned Judge, Special NDPS Court, Suri, Birbhum, under Section 20(b)(ii)(C) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. 2.

Mr.

Ganguli, learned Advocate representing the petitioner, submits that 12 witnesses have been cited in the charge sheet, but only one witness has been examined in full. He prays for the expeditious disposal of the case. 3.

Having heard the learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner and upon perusal of the materials on record placed before me, I do not find any impediment in accepting the innocuous prayer of the petitioner.

In view thereof, the revisional application is disposed of by directing the trial court to make an endeavour to dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period

of one year from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, without granting unnecessary adjournments to either party. (Partha Sarathi Chatterjee, J.)
