None appears for the other respondents despite service.

The grievance of the writ petitioner is that, the concerned Block Land and Land Reforms Officer entered a name of a person, on the strength of a document of title. The writ petitioner applied for correction of the record of rights which was disallowed by the concerned Block Land and Land Reforms Officer. Consequently, the writ petitioner approached the Tribunal by way of O.A.1426 of 2022, which was disposed of by the impugned order.

The Tribunal found that, there were title disputes between the parties. The claims were based

on title documents. The Tribunal found that such title dispute was in the domain of a Civil Court.

We find nothing wrong in the order of the Tribunal when it decided that there are title disputes between private parties with regard to an immovable property are to be settled by a Civil Court and that the Block Land and Land Reforms Officer is without any jurisdiction on such aspect.

In such circumstances, we find no merit in the present writ petition.

W.P.L.R.T. 91 of 2023 is disposed to without any order as to costs.
