Banerjee ...for the respondent nos.9,12,13,14,15, 18,19 and 20 The petitioner claims to have obtained a decree in respect of a piece of land against the private respondents in T.S. 2690 of 2017 on September 14, 2017. The petitioner claims that notwithstanding such decree, the private respondents are seeking to interfere with the possession of the said land.

Repeated complaints have been made to the Kharagpur Local Police Station but no steps have been taken by the police.

Counsel for the private respondents submits that the land in question is vested.

This Court is of the view that the police have absolutely no role to play in the matter. The

remedy of the petitioner is to put the aforesaid decree into execution that of the private respondents may to object to the said execution of the said decree on appropriate grounds.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition shall stand disposed of without any order. There shall be no order as to costs.
