It appears from the report that the State has already published the vacancy notification of the newspaper on 25th July, 2024. The closing date of submission of application is 7th September, 2024. It is the further submission of the authority that within three months after closing date, the respondent authorities will engage a FPS dealer at Charbajitpur. It further appears to this Court that the licence of the present petitioners was put under suspension during the pendency of the instant writ petition.

The concerned authority is directed to take appropriate steps in respect of the show-cause - cumsuspension letter by virtue of the order of this Court in WPA 21825 of 2024.

Considering the entire situation it appears that the cause of action of the instant writ petition, at present, does not survive. I find no justification to proceed further with this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of.

The report in the form of Affidavit filed by the State is taken on record.
