Yogoda Satsanga Kshirodamoyee Vidyapith, Hura, District - Purulia is a minority institution. The petitioner participated in the selection process for recruitment in the post of Assistant teacher of the subject Bengali in the said school but the said selection process was subsequently cancelled as the District Inspector of Schools (S.E.), Purulia, the respondent no. 3 herein had withdrawn the prior permission granted to the school to initiate the said selection process.

The petitioner is challenging the legality and validity of cancellation of the said selection process. A new selection process was started after cancellation of the earlier one and the petitioner has participated in the said selection process also. In view of initiation of a fresh selection process, challenge to the cancellation of the earlier selection has become infructuous.

W.P.A. 17898 of 2023 is therefore dismissed, there shall however be no order as to costs.
